2026 trial period for newly required fields
For all MAS-TDR participants, GSA states that 1 July through 31 December 2026 is a trial period for good-faith errors in six newly required data fields: ship date, order date, ZIP code shipped to, federal customer, Unique Catalog ID and cloud service type. The trial period does not remove the obligations to report sales each month, complete required fields as applicable, remit the correct IFF on time or avoid intentional misrepresentation.
The monthly control cycle
Establish the reporting period, collect complete source populations, preserve zero-sales evidence where applicable, map required fields, reconcile reported sales and calculate the customer-confirmed IFF basis.
What automation can safely own
Collection, normalization, mapping, deterministic validation, reconciliation, exception routing and packet generation can be automated. Portal certification remains with the contractor’s authorized personnel.
