Find the tariff stack hidden inside your landed cost
Saxum organizes the commercial data, makes every assumption visible and produces a reviewable exposure register for confirmation by the importer’s licensed customs professional.
No portal credentials. No guaranteed external result. Scope confirmed before sensitive material is transferred.
Current-source rule
Applicable U.S. duty exposure depends on classification, origin, entry date and active trade measures. At the 20 August 2026 source review, SAXUM observed USITC 2026 HTS Revision 16, published 14 August 2026, as the latest reviewed HTS revision. SAXUM does not publish a static “all-in rate”; each review is dated against the current HTSUS, CBP guidance and the customer’s customs-professional decisions, and a newer official authority candidate must be staged and approved before authoritative calculation claims use it.
Why the standard portal or checklist is not enough
A base HTS duty rate can be only one layer of the cost. Additional duties, exclusions, origin facts and product-specific measures can change the amount owed. A simple calculator can create false confidence when its assumptions are incomplete.
Best-fit customer
Customs advisers, importers and ecommerce operators with repeat SKU exposure
Problems this product helps control
Import lines where HTS classification, country of origin, Section 301 or other special duties and landed-cost assumptions need a line-level tariff exposure review.
A bounded intake, not an open-ended data dump
The case starts with enough context to reproduce the problem and define responsibility. Credentials, unrelated personal data and unsupported assumptions are excluded.
- SKU and product descriptions
- Current HTS classifications, if known
- Country of origin and supplier facts
- Entry values, quantities and recent broker documentation
What arrives at the end of the engagement
The output is designed to be reviewed, handed off and defended—not merely marked “passed.”
- Line-level duty-stack worksheet
- Assumption and uncertainty register
- Change-sensitive SKU watchlist
- Potential refund or correction candidates
- Questions for the customs broker
- Executive landed-cost summary
From messy source material to a reviewable release packet
Each stage has a clear stop condition. When evidence is insufficient, the case pauses rather than manufacturing certainty.
Ingest
Normalize the commercial and classification inputs without silently inventing missing facts.
Model
Apply the declared tariff layers and surface every material assumption.
Challenge
Identify classification, origin and remedy questions requiring professional confirmation.
Handoff
Deliver a broker-ready workbook and prioritized action register.
Turn each official revision into a SKU-level action list
The platform freezes the loaded HTS and remedy sources, calculates supported duty stacks, compares scenarios and routes unsupported classifications or legal conclusions to a qualified customs professional.
What changed
Hash and monitor official sources, preserve readable change evidence and pause recurring cases when a material source revision requires rule review.
Portfolio impact
Identify affected SKUs, origins, entered values and margin scenarios instead of sending a generic tariff bulletin to the business.
Decision control
Assign exceptions, attach broker evidence, require Human ReviewPass approval and publish a signed executive summary with exposure and time-value metrics.
Monitor tariff exposure across multiple importer portfolios
Keep importer/SKU populations segregated while reusing approved authority sources, scenario logic and revision monitoring across the advisory team.
Segregated accounts
Each customer, entity or operating unit keeps separate source evidence, mappings, exceptions and outputs.
Reusable controls
Approved mappings and review policy reduce repeat setup without allowing one client's assumptions to leak into another.
Portfolio oversight
Firm teams can see recurring due work, unresolved exceptions and evidence-backed outcomes without flattening client boundaries.
Show the buyer exactly what Saxum proved
The first controlled cycle produces customer-visible proof before the workflow is expanded. Saxum keeps internal completion separate from external/provider acceptance and never turns estimates into verified outcomes.
Source coverage
See which files, mappings and authority sources were used, what was missing and which assumptions remained unresolved.
Exception register
Every blocker has a reason, owner and current state. Unsupported facts remain open instead of disappearing into a generic pass.
Evidence-graded scorecard
Separate Saxum-completed work from provider-final evidence, verified value, source-backed exposure, observed time savings and estimates.
Use this when the cost of an unresolved exception exceeds the cost of review
Saxum is strongest when the workflow repeats, the evidence is fragmented and one preventable mistake can delay revenue, create rework or weaken the customer’s audit trail.
Every engagement starts with scope confirmation. Pilot and research offers are intentionally limited until the workflow is proven on paid cases.

Direct answers on access, responsibility, deliverables and limits.
No. Saxum provides an analytical control layer and works best alongside a licensed customs broker or customs counsel.
No final classification is issued automatically. Candidate classifications may be organized, but uncertain facts are escalated.
The deliverable is a documented portfolio review with assumptions, stacked measures, exceptions and a professional handoff—not a single-rate lookup.
No. Monitoring is offered only when the customer has enough change-sensitive volume to justify it.
Yes. The model can compare declared scenarios, but it does not replace legal origin or classification advice.
Verify the underlying requirement
Saxum product pages link to primary agency or platform material so buyers can confirm the official requirement themselves.
Primary-source review date: 20 August 2026. Re-check before each engagement.
